BRAND // Fragulho WINE // Port REGION // Douro, Portugal CLASSIFICATION // Port, Tawny 10 Years GRAPES // Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca
VINIFICATION The harvest was handmade and carried in small boxes to our wine cellar. Initiated by the stemming, crushing and packaging of the grapes in the wine press, the vinification was then proceeded by the skin maceration and the fermentation, which were made with a mechanical press and occurred throughout 3 days. The alcoholic fermentation was then interrupted, wine spirit was added and to finish the pressing process was implemented. The wine was aged in an oak tree barrel for 10 years and then bottled.
